325,218. Holophane, Ltd., Williams, R. G., and Hudson, G. J. Samms-. Nov. 12, 1928. Lantern screens.-A light projector for illuminating with varying colours, posters or other objects comprises a vertical translucent cylinder 17 having inclined bands of different colour thereon and supported upon a stationary vertical reflector 9 which encloses the light source 6 except for an aperture or apertures 10 through which the light passes. The cylinder 17 rotates outside the reflector 9 by convection currents impinging on vanes 21. A sheet of prismatic glass 26, a diffusing medium, and a colour screen may be arranged in the path of the light rays. Two or more projectors may be coupled together by gearing.
