511,825. Transformers. FIDES GES. FUR DIE VERWALTUNG UND VERWERTUNG VON GEWERBLICHEN SCHUTZRECHTEN. Dec. 15, 1938, No. 36554. Convention date, Dec. 23, 1937. [Class 38 (ii)] Tight coupling between the primary and secondary windings of transformers of a ratio not less than 2 to 1 is obtained by winding a cable comprising at least three insulated conductors on a core or former and connecting in series some of the conductors to form the winding having the greater number of turns. Where the ratio is to be non-integral one or more of the conductors connected in series are shortened so as to be absent from one turn of the cable. Specifications 300,154 and 318,693, [both in Class 38 (ii)], are referred to.
