510,187. Tip-up seats. INTALOK, Ltd., and SECCOMBE, J. C. Feb. 5, 1938, No. 3648. [Classes 52 (ii) and 52 (v)] A tip-up seat for theatres, cinemas, and the like of the kind in which the back b and the seat a both tip into a vertical position, has a pivot rod f in the frame for the seat, while the back is carried at each side by a radius link l pivoted at m to the side frame and by two further links j, p connected to the seat. The pivots are mounted on plates g, e, attached to the back and seat on each side and a spacing collar is provided on the pivot k of the outer link which collar serves as a stop for the link p in the position of use. A stop r preferably of rubber is provided for the tipped position.
