Abstract

507,462. Discharge apparatus. LORENZ AKT.-GES., C. Sept. 16, 1938, No. 27086. Convention date, Sept. 20, 1937. [Class 39 (i)] The electrode system E is supported by leads 13 from ceramic discs 1, 2 which form closure mombers for the envelope 4 surrounding the electrodes. The member 4 may be of ceramic material or consist of a metal or glass cylinder 9 with end rings 7, 8 of ceramic material. The parts are joined and the loads sealed by glass seals 5, 6, 12, 14, 16. Ceramic rods 3 are secured to one disc 1 and are slidably engaged in recesses in the other disc 2 with the interposition of springs 10.
