[Class 8 (ii)] [Also in Groups I and IX] A loose filtering-medium is confined within a filter by a cloth made of yarns, filaments or fibres of glass. Glass wool, charcoal, fuller's earth, diatomaceous earth and zeolites are mentioned as filtering media. The filter is suitable for the treatment of air containing corrosive fumes, gases containing ammonia, acid vapours, chlorine or bromine vapours.
