Abstract

500,790. Valve amplifying circuits. NAAMLOOZE VENNOOTSCHAP PHILIPS' GLOEILAMPENFABRIEKEN. Sept. 7, 1938, No. 26177. Convention date, Sept. 10, 1937. [Class 40 (v)] In a high-frequency amplifier having neutralizing capacity C1 to prevent reaction between the input and output circuits and in which, for short waves, the conductors 5, 7, 11 connecting the valve electrodes.to the rest of the circuit have appreciable inductance, these leads are tuned to the frequency of the oscillations to be amplified by condensers 15, 17, 18 and the grid lead 7 has a damping resistance 19 shunted by a circuit 20, 21 tuned to the frequency to be amplified. To prevent loss of amplification by mutual induction between the conductors, a coil 22 in the cathode lead may be coupled to coil 20 in the tuned circuit 20, 21. The application to push-pull amplifiers is also described.
