Abstract

In a process of high speed deposition welding without manipulative puddling, an iron welding rod is used containing 0,2-1 per cent of silicon, 0,7-1,5 per cent of manganese, and either 0,1-0,6 per cent of vanadium or 0,2-0,5 per cent of chromium, or at least 0,1 per cent of vanadium and such an amount of chromium that the sum of the vanadium and half the chromium is 0,1-0,5 per cent. Specifications 239,291, [Class 82 (i)], and 352,714 are referred to.
