Abstract

497,292. Spinning flax &c. in ring frames. HAMEL, E. June 21, 1937, No. 17217. [Class 120 (ii)] In a wet spinning frame for spinning flax, hemp and the like comprising a hot water bath, drawing-rollers and ring and traveller apparatus, the ring is continuously supplied with grease or other water-repellent substance in solid form. Grease is supplied from a cup r or a gun to a hole p in the ring, and passes by way of a slot q in the rail to the lower edge of the ring.
