Abstract

494,127. Pot eyes for spinning &c. machines. AMBLER, S. July 7, 1937, No. 18839. [Class 120 (ii)] Pot eyes for spinning and like machines comprise a dished flange, the aperture being of larger diameter at the outlet than at the inlet. As shown, the inlet A<3> is coned, but the lower coned portion A4 may terminate in a parallel inlet. The eye is mounted with the flange proud of the top board to prevent entrance of fluff, and a lip A<6>, shown in dotted lines, may be provided for the same purpose.
