Abstract
Dust-laying compositions consist of a chloride or a chloride-double-salt of magnesium or calcium and less than 0,1 per cent of an effective wetting agent; a foam-forming agent may be added or the wetting agent may also be a foam-former. The mixture may be applied dry and afterwards wetted, but is p preferably atomized as a solution in water. Double salts suitable are carnallite, tachhydrite, and mixtures of salts containing them, e.g. mother liquors of sea salt works.
