494,322. Excavator buckets. SKODA WORKS, PLZEN. Jan. 18, 1937, No. 1497. Void. Convention date, Jan. 18, 1936. [Class 68 (i)] In an excavator bucket with a detachable knife, the front of bucket body 2 is thickened and a ledge 3 is provided to engage a corresponding recess in the knife 1, the outer front wall of the body being free from projections and flush with that of the knife ; either the body or the knive has one or more projections 5 each fitting a recess or opening 6 in the other part and at each side of the body one or more projections 7, with inclined upper faces, are provided as abutments for the knife. Bolts, cotters, or pins 8 secure the knife.
