706,531. Detachable excavator bucket teeth. BARBER-GREENE CO. March 24,1952 [March 27, 1951], No. 7506/52. Class 68(1) Projecting from the digging edge of an excavator bucket are a plurality of teeth 15, each having a concave-convex cross-section for at least the leading part 20 of the length thereof. The cutting edge 21 of the part 20 is convexly curved so that the medial portion of said edge is foremost. Each tooth fits into a suitably shaped socket 14 in the digging edge in such a manner that the mutually engaging surfaces 18, 23 of the socket and tooth cause the tooth to be wedged in said socket as it is urged into the earth.
