Abstract
493,309. Cycle-locks. MUNDY, A. E. April 13, 1937, No. 10460. [Class 79 (iii)] In theft-preventing devices for cycles, of the type comprising a U -shaped yoke adapted to embrace the frame fork and wheel spokes to hold the wheel against rotation, a bridge-piece 4 hinged to one leg of the yoke is slotted to pass over the end of the other leg which, in turn, is apertured to receive the hasp of a padlock 8. The padlock may be integral with the bridge-piece. The yoke is preferably covered with rubber or other soft material 2.
