[Classes 4 and 114] [Also in Group XXXI] A steering-indicator for aircraft or ships comprises a pinion 4 secured to the shaft 2 of the steering-wheel and meshing with an internally toothed ring 6 carrying an index member 11 working over a scale 12. The gear ratio is such that the index member indicates directly the direction of motion set by the steering-wheel.
