[Class 20 (iii)] An air-tight and rattle-preventing strip for doors of aircraft, ships, and other vehicles comprises a flexible foundation a of rubberproofed canvas, a bead b of indiarubber secured thereto, and a strip of rubber material c made in accordance with either of the Specifications 232,015, [Class 70], or 437,928, [Group V], secured to the sides of the bead and to the face of the foundation. The device may be secured to the edge of a door d by metal strips e and bolts &c. The strip b may be grooved to increase its resilience.
