492,233. Card indexes. FRIEDRICH, L. Dec. 24, 1937, No. 35729. Convention date, Dec. 28, 1936. [Class 146 (i)] A guide card for a vertical card index consists of a sheet 1 of transparent material with foldedover edges forming a sheath, and a tablet 3, adapted to be slid into the sheath, having a series of pockets 4 in which are placed strips 5 with inscriptions relating to the cards forming the card index. The pockets 4 are formed by securing a length of folded paper to the tablet by adhesive.
