Racks and the like; sheets and cards. - In pocketed articles such as albums, books, cards, and loose leaves for storing and displaying stamps, labels, prints, documents, &c., flat sheets of pockets are formed by interlacing transparent or semi - transparent strips with each other, or with opaque material in the form of strips or slotted sheets. Transparent strips 1, Fig. I, are interlaced together a.t any angle and pasted at the ends to a paper border 2, to form a flat sheet of pockets holding stamps &c. with both sides visible, or are interlaced with opaque paper strips, or with a slotted paper sheet or card 3, Fig. II. The strips 1 may be folded before interlacing with the sheet 3, the lower fold 4 being broader than the upper fold 5, and supplementary pockets for labels &c. may be formed by a transparent strip 6 pasted at the top 7, passing beneath the strips 1, and fastened at the bottom after passing through a slit or being folded around the edge of the sheet 3. The sheets of pockets may be pasted, to a plain paper back, or back to back to each other with a sheet or paper or tissue interposed. Ornamental borders may be used.
