[Class 146 (i)] Suspension means for vertical index cards comprises a cross-bar A to which is attached a strip B having near its ends vertical slots E to receive tongues H on the index card G, and between its ends one or more curved slots F, each of which forms a tab to be engaged by a horizontal slot J in the index card. The cross-bar may consist of several thicknesses of paper &c. which may be interleaved with veneer. The strip B has a row of hinge-slots D.
