[Class 146 (i)] [See also Group XVII] A drawer A for filing-cabinets of the type in which the front of the drawer stands up substantially above the top of the sides and end thereof, has the sides constructed as racks a, Fig. 1, or fitted with spring steel racks B, Figs. 2, 4, along their upper edges and is fitted with a plurality of thin rectangular plates D, formed with projections d at the upper ends of their vertical edges, adapted to extend through the notches a, b of the racks, the upper surface of each plate being substantially flush with the upper edges of the racks.
