491,753. Heating air. RADIANTHEATING, Ltd., and DOCKING, A. Aug. 14, 1937, No. 22381. [Class 64 (i)] An air heater comprises a casing 5 open at the front and back, a gas burner 7 at the bottom of the casing, and a fan 6 arranged to draw air in through the back of the casing and deliver it mixed with products of combustion from the burner through the front. The products are distributed evenly around the fan by a perforated U-shaped pipe 13 opening into the top of a chamber 4 containing the burner. Ozonized air is drawn into the casing from an electric ionizing device 16. The gas supply to the burner may be controlled by a thermostat in the room, and the motor driving the fan may be controlled by a temperature sensitive device arranged near the burner.
