[Class 140] [Also in Group XVII] Packing-material is made by adhering a substantially flat sheet of soft felted material a, for example carpet felt or roofing felt before impregnation with the proofing material, to the ridges only of the corrugations of a preformed sheet c of corrugated paper, cardboard or the like. The corrugated material may consist of more than one ply. The packing material may be made into a packing case with the felted material innermost by cutting a blank of the shape shown in Fig. 2, folding it along the dotted lines, and securing with a strip of paper along the adjacent edges.
