Abstract

486,180. Reservoir pads. FENYVES, L. Sept. 23, 1937, No. 25832. [Class 19] A reservoir pad for a liquid container 1, Fig. 1, has a perforated plate 11 covered by absorbent material, a second perforated plate 13 dished inwardly from a threaded member 19, and a third perforated plate 14 leaving a second chamber 23 between it and the second plate. The pad is protected when not in use by a cap 6 screw-threaded on to a shoulder 2 of the container provided with a washer 5. A disc 16 acts as a removable closure. In a modification, Fig. 3, a perforated disc 18 is used, the disc 11 being rotatable by a member 20 so as to act as a butterfly valve. The container 1 mav be mounted on a frame 17, Fig. 2, to be used for continuous evaporation and distribution of small quantities.
