485,572. High-speed boats. SPURR, E. Nov. 18, 1936, No. 31586. [Class 113 (ii)] A high-speed boat has a profile in the form of a cambered aerofoil, and has a substantially straight leading edge 1. The undersurface 4 rises slightly as it approaches the bow. In a modification the undersurface is recessed towards the stern to form a step. In further modifications the side surfaces 3 are flared outwardly or rounded.
