Abstract
529,269. Aircraft floats. ARADO FLUGZEUGWERKE GES. May 26, 1939, No. 15631. Convention date, Sept. 2, 1938. [Class 113 (ii)] A float for aircraft is provided with a keel having a portion offset laterally from the plane of symmetry and the remaining portion placed in the plane of symmetry. As shown a keel portion 2 is offset from the line of symmetry and extends from the step 1 to the bow portion 3. Another part 5 is located in the plane of symmetry W of the float, and merges gradually into the other part of the keel at 6. At the bow the keel is on the outboard side entirely.
