485,511. Bricks &c. BRITISH ZONOLITE PRODUCTS, Ltd. (Schundler & Co., Inc., F. E.) March 17, 1937, No. 7855. Drawings to Specification. [Class 87 (i)] Bricks, blocks, slabs, tiles, &c. comprise an inner felted mass containing particles of exfoliated vermiculite and an outer shell of the same material cemented together with a binder. The bricks &c. are made by moulding an aggregate comprising exfoliated vermiculite and up to 25 per cent of plastic clay together with a binder, which may consist of pitch liquor. The evaporation of the liquid in the binder causes the shell to harden ; the drying may be effected by heat or pressure. The bricks &c. may be waterproofed by employing a waterproof binder.
