Abstract

488,928. Moulding ridge-tiles. UPTON, A. M. Jan. 14, 1937, No. 1191. [Class 87 (ii)] A ridge-tile mould comprises a body part 8 and detachable end flanges 1, 2. The mould is placed on a support 3, 4, and concrete, clay, &c. is applied to the mould. The flange 2 is detached, and the mould with the moist tile is removed from the support leaving the flange 1 in position on the support. The tile is then dried on the mould body 8 unhindered by the end flanges. The body 8 may be used with flanges having scalloped or other edges.
