Abstract

A material suitable for plugging walls, ceilings, and the like comprises a mixture of a rapidly binding substance, e.g. plaster of Paris, and at least 5 per cent and preferably between 5 and 20 per cent of glycerine. The mixture is moistened with water and when set has a dense structure through retaining a plasticity sufficient to permit the introduction of a screw, nail or the like. The composition may be modified by the addition of talc or graphite, or both.
