Abstract

484,743. Brush --handle attachments. MORGAN, F. Feb. 1, 1937, No. 2897. [Class 61 (i)] The handle 1 of a brush, mop, squeegee, &c. is secured to a sleeve 2 which terminates in a flat end 9 to which the brush &c. is secured and has anchored therein at 4 a spring 3 connected by a flexible wire or cord 5 passing round a pulley 6 and through an aperture 7 in the sleeve to a stirrup or foot-rest 8. In use, the foot is placed in the stirrup and the brush &c. pushed forward over the floor thus stressing the spring which aids the return movement of the brush.
