Abstract

A hair brush has naturally head hairs entwined thereround and dandruff adhered thereon which can not be removed easily by wiping with toilet paper, but by washing can be done considerably well, which is, though, very troublesome, therefore, the brush is apt to become insanitary and is felt disagreeable to see.

Therefore, one object of this invention is to permit to remove easily fallen hairs, dandruff and the like adhered to the brush. Another object of this'invention is to adhere to remove fallen hairs and the like adhered to the brush only by moving a knob with fingertip without making a hand dirty. And a further object of this invention is to enable to clean easily the plate body and roots of projecting pieces where are difficult to clean and dandruff and the like are easy to adhere.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION Referring now to the drawings, there is illustrated a descriptions on recommendable embodiments of this invention. The numeral 1 indicates a plate body, formed of plastic and wood, with a handle 12 projected at one end thereof. The numeral 2 2 indicate projecting pieces, vertically planted on the plate body 1 and 'unitedly formed with use of the same material which may be replaced by fur of beasts, as that of the plate body. The numeral 5 indicates a projecting part protrudingly formed at the back of the plate body 1, with two sliding parts 6 6' which are inclined in the forward end direction, formed, and the lower end whereof is led to slits 13 13 made on the plate body 1. Said slits 13 13 are desirable to make between projecting pieces 2 2 so as not to collide with them. At the back part of projecting part 5 a leading groove 7 is formed to be continuously connected to sliding parts 8 6'. In forming the said leading groove 7 it may be organized with a little distance apart from the upper end of the projecting part by covering a case on the projecting part 5. An oblong thorough hole 10 facing the leading groove 7 is made at a place near the upper end of the projecting part 5. With a foot 14 of the knob 11 fitted thereon. Two connecting plates 8 9 thin and the plate body 1. An elevating plate 4 is shaped in largeness nearly as large as the area occupied by planted projecting pieces 2, 2 all of which are inserted in thorough holes 3, 3 having a diameter same as or a little larger than that of roots of projecting pieces 2, 2 inserted, and is fixed to forward ends of said connecting plates 8 9 protruding from slits I3 l3 Y The said oblong thorough hole 10 is made in length same as the moving distance of connecting plates 8, 9

and formed in accordance with the elevating distance of the elevating'plate 4 The elevating plate 4 is desirable to get down near to the forward end of projecting pieces 2 2 and to rise up to the contact point with the lower surface of the plate body 1 The present in-' vention is further illustrated by other embodiment as shown in FIG. 4. The handle 12 and a cover 15 are unitedly formed of wood, metal plastic or the like. The plate body 1 with projecting pieces 2, 2 vertically planted is fitted into a recess formed below the lower surface of the cover 15, and on the back thereof two projecting parts 5 5 are formed with upper forward parts thereof are formed round as sliding parts 6 6 respectively. A groove is desirable to form so as to make the lower end of the foot 14 of the knob 11 or cauking parts of connecting plates 8 9 fitted into central upper parts of projecting parts upon movement. And the oblong hole 10 made on the cover 15 permits the foot 14 of the knob 11 to be inserted thereinto, connecting plates 8 9 being fixed to the lower end of the foot 14.

Said projecting parts 5 5 are formed to be positioned so as to nearly contact with the cover 15 with connecting plate 8 9 put thereon. Strength can be obtained by connecting between the right and the left side of two projecting parts within plate of the same material as projecting parts, even when projecting parts are thinly formed. Other organizations are the same as those in the said embodiment.

Now, an explanation on how to use is as follows. In case of usually using a hair brush, connecting plate 8 9 fixed to the foot 14 of the knob 11 are pulled by the movement of the knob toward the handle 12 to slide on projecting parts 5 5 And sliding parts 6 6', causing to rise the elevating plate 4 equipped at the forward end thereof, thereby almost or perfectly to make contact with the plate body 1 when the knob 11 collides with the end of the oblong hole 10. Therefore, as coming out, projecting pieces 2 2 can be used as a brush. Upon twining of hair around projecting pieces 2 2 upon attachment of dandruff to projecting pieces 2 2 and the elevating plate 4 or after use, by pushing the knob 11 toward the forward end of the brush, connecting plates 8 9 are led onto the projecting part 5 ,and sliding parts 6 6' to project from slits 13 13 made on the plate body 1 causing the elevating plate 4 fixed to the forward end thereof to get down. And the elevating plate 4 stops when the foot 14 of the knob 11 strikes against the forward end of the oblong hole 10 Then, the elevating plate 4 rising up near to tips of projecting pieces 2 2 hairs can be taken off from them for being pushed by the elevating plate 4 and dandruff attached to the elevating plate 4 and projecting pieces 2 2 comes out with attached onto the elevating plate 4 thereby, brush can be cleaned by wiping off hairs and dandruff with use of toilet paper. As described above, according to the hair brush of my invention, up and down operations of the elevating plate can be made very easy by moving the knob by finger with holding the brush in hand, and hairs, dandruff and the like can be very easily removed 3 by the elevating plate, thereby enabling to keep the hair brush always clean.

I claim:

1. A hair brush with means to remove fallen hairs comprising, in combination, a plate body having a handle made by protruding a part thereof in one direction, having a multiple pieces of projecting pieces plantingly equipped thereon at roots, and having projecting part formed at the 'back thereof, an elevating plate having thorough holes made at corresponding place to those of said projecting pieces so as to 'make projecting pieces pass through, sliding part leading to slits made on the plate body at one end thereof and being connected at the other end thereof to a leading groove formed at the back of the projecting part, an oblong hole connected to the said leading groove being formed, and connecting plates fixed to the elevating plate at the lower end thereof and other end thereof passing through slits, sliding parts, the leading groove and the said oblong hole to be fixed to the knob freely slidable on the said oblong hole.

A hair brush with means to remove fallen hairs comprising, in combination, a handle and a cover being unitedly formed, a plate body having a multiple pieces of projecting pieces plantingly equipped on a surface thereof and on the back thereof a projecting part with sliding parts formed, having slits at the lower end of sliding parts and being fitted into a recess of the cover, an elevating plate having a multiple number of thorough holes made at corresponding places to those of said projecting pieces so as to make said projecting pieces pass through, connecting plates being fixed to a knob fitted in an oblong hole made on the cover at one end thereof and the lower end thereof passing through slits and the sliding part to be fixed to the elevating plate.

3. A hair brush with means to remove fallen hairs as set forth in claim 2 wherein two sliding parts are independently formed on the back of the plate body respectively.

4. A hair brush with means to remove fallen hairs as set forth in claim 2 wherein a groove is formed on the central upper part of projecting parts shaped on the back of the plate body.

5. A hair brush with means to remove fallen hairs as set forth in claim 2 wherein two projecting parts are connected between the right and the left sides thereof with use of a thin plate.

Claims (5)

1. A hair brush with means to remove fallen hairs comprising, in combination, a plate body having a handle made by protruding a part thereof in one direction, having a multiple pieces of projecting pieces plantingly equipped theReon at roots, and having projecting part formed at the back thereof, an elevating plate having thorough holes made at corresponding place to those of said projecting pieces so as to make projecting pieces pass through, sliding part leading to slits made on the plate body at one end thereof and being connected at the other end thereof to a leading groove formed at the back of the projecting part, an oblong hole connected to the said leading groove being formed, and connecting plates fixed to the elevating plate at the lower end thereof and other end thereof passing through slits, sliding parts, the leading groove and the said oblong hole to be fixed to the knob freely slidable on the said oblong hole.

A hair brush with means to remove fallen hairs comprising, in combination, a handle and a cover being unitedly formed, a plate body having a multiple pieces of projecting pieces plantingly equipped on a surface thereof and on the back thereof a projecting part with sliding parts formed, having slits at the lower end of sliding parts and being fitted into a recess of the cover, an elevating plate having a multiple number of thorough holes made at corresponding places to those of said projecting pieces so as to make said projecting pieces pass through, connecting plates being fixed to a knob fitted in an oblong hole made on the cover at one end thereof and the lower end thereof passing through slits and the sliding part to be fixed to the elevating plate.

3. A hair brush with means to remove fallen hairs as set forth in claim 2 wherein two sliding parts are independently formed on the back of the plate body respectively.

4. A hair brush with means to remove fallen hairs as set forth in claim 2 wherein a groove is formed on the central upper part of projecting parts shaped on the back of the plate body.

5. A hair brush with means to remove fallen hairs as set forth in claim 2 wherein two projecting parts are connected between the right and the left sides thereof with use of a thin plate.
