Abstract
484,380. Squirting. SCHLOEMANN AKT.-GES. Sept. 11, 1937, No. 24825. Convention date, Sept. 15, 1936. [Class 83 (iv)] A removable die- 'holder for metal tube and wire extrusion presses of the kind comprising a trough-shaped body 5 with apertured end walls, the die 3 and a packing member 4 being mounted in the forward end wall, and the'rear end wall abutting against a wedge lock 8, is formed to receive at least two thrust rings 61, 611 which are inserted through the open top of the dieholder, the aperture for the extruded product increasing stepwise with each thrust ring in the direction away from the die. The holder is removed by a device 9 when a die and rings of different diameter are to be substituted.
