Abstract
482,241. Modulating and demodulating apparatus. SIEMENS & HALSKE AKT.-GES. June 29, 1937, No. 18068. Convention date, June 30, 1936. Drawings to Specification. [Class 40 (v)] In known modulating or demodulating circuits employing two-electrode rectifiers an ohmic resistance large compared with the impedance of the rectifier in the pass direction and small compared with its impedance in the blocking direction is connected in series with each two-electrode rectifier. The resultant impedance of the series combination approaches more nearly to that of the ideal non-linear impedance for use in modulator circuits in which the impedance in one direction is infinite and in the other direction is of a constant finite value. Specifications 423,875 and 435,201 are referred to.
