482,132. Centrifugal fans. FINDLAY & SONS, Ltd., W., and FINDLAY, D. M. Sept. 23, 1936, No. 25868. [Class 110 (i)] In a centrifugal fan or blower, such as for a smith's forge f, the main discharge d has an additional outlet a with a scoop or baffle j to withdraw air at high pressure, such as for a blowpipe. The outlet a is immediately in advance of the impeller chamber b and is at right-angles to the tube d, the baffle being in advance of the outlet a. The baffle j consists of a split tube with one side bent vertically. The discharge d leads to the nozzle e, and may have the usual slide valve g.
