Abstract

480,066. Discharge apparatus. LORENZ AKT.-GES., C. May 7, 1937, No. 13105. Convention date, May 9, 1936. [Class 39 (i)) In a tube for very high frequencies wherein the anode forms part of the envelope, the electrode system is centred within the anode by an insulator at one end and is mounted on an insulator at the other end, centring being accomplished at this end solely by rigid leads taken out through a ring seal. As shown the envelope comprises an anode A and glass portions Q, Q<1>. The electrodes are mounted on an insulator M and centred by an insulator Z resting on a shoulder on the anode. The leads a rest on the flange Q<1>, to which is sealed the flange q. The electrodes may be provided with studs B engaging holes in the insulator Z. The guides may engage projections C on the insulator Z.
