Abstract

479,997. Wearing - apparel. BERNHART, F. July 14, 1937, No. 19565. [Class 141] A double jumper, pullover. blouse, or like garment is characterized in that the individual garments are connected together along at least one seam, and the neck openings of the individual garments have different shapes or outlines, so as to present a different appearance when the garment is reversed. In the form shown, the garment comprises two layers 1, 2, of fabric which are connected together around the bottom edge 3, around the edges of the armholes 4, and around the back of the neck opening 5. The front of the neck opening 6 of the layer 1 is Y-shaped while the neck opening 7 of the layer 2 is round. When the garment has sleeves, the layers of fabric are also connected together around the cuffs. The individual garments may be of different colours and materials.
