[Class 141.] Jerseys, slipovers, and like knitted garments are made reversible and with different patterns or designs on the two surfaces. In the slip-over shown in Fig. 1, shaped pieces of fabric with different patterns on the two sides are seamed together and bindings 7, 8 folded and applied respectively to the armholes and neck opening. The seams are made to present the same appearance on both sides, as shown in Fig. 9. The welt 4 may be of non-patterned fabric, and this applies also to the cuffs of garments made with sleeves. In applying the invention to a bathing costume, the crotch part is made as shown in Fig. 8. The fabric is a known reversible knitted fabric, and may be produced on a double jacquard knitting machine.
