Abstract

478,790. Weatherproof overalls. ROBINSON, J. W., and DOLLIN, F. H. April 30, 1937, No. 12339. [Class 141] A weatherproof overall suit comprises a body portion 1 formed integrally with sleeves 2, with a neck portion 3 carrying a helmet 4 of the hood type, and with thigh portions 6, and has a front opening extending from the crotch to the neck. The opening is provided with fastening means, such as slide fasteners 7 and 8, and is covered by flaps 9 and 10. Epaulette capes 5 may be provided. The sleeves and thighs may be provided with elastic storm cuffs 15 and elastic grips 16 respectively, and in addition. cross-over bands 14 may be provided on the wrist portions of the sleeves. The chin may be protected by a band 11, whilst the hood is secured to the head by chin straps 13. A peak 12, when not required, may be folded back and secured to the hood by a press stud.
