Abstract
449,377. Wearing-apparel. RENDER, E. K., Bend o' the Lane, Blossom Way, Hillingdon, Middlesex. Sept. 7, 1935, No. 24944. [Class 141] A trunk garment of waterproof material for retaining excretions of the body, e.g. in surgical operations, which can be removed from the body in the form of a sheet, is provided with elastic bands C, Figs. 1 and 2, adapted to encircle and fit closely to the thighs in the operative position, and with a central flap D which is adapted to be drawn up at the front to make a close fit on the abdomen, and to be fastened to buttons or equivalent devices E, the garment being further secured on the wearer by means of co-operating fastenings B, B<1> and by means of a tape A adapted to encircle the wearer's waist. In a modification, Fig. 4, the garment is provided with a single elastic thigh band C, and is adapted to cover only one side of the wearer, being secured in position by means of a waist tape A, and by securing the flap D to fasteners E.
