Abstract

1,208,284. Protective garments. J. CHARNLEY. 13 June, 1968 [28 June, 1967; 26 Oct., 1967], Nos. 29813/67 and 48644/67. Heading A3V. [Also in Division A5] A protective sleeved gown comprises an integral hood 12 with a front opening containing face mask 11, to which are connected suction pipes 28 to draw air from the region of the wearer's face. Air enters the mask through ventilating apertures 23 in window 22, which is detachable. Mask 11 may be adapted to surround the wearer's eyes and nose, or only the wearer's eyes.
