Abstract

582.390. Overalls. MONTY, G. E. Oct. 5, 1944, No. 19132. [Class 141] A protective garment for surgeons, &c., consists of a cape covering the shoulders and having a continuation in the form of a cloak with no opening below the neck in the front. The garment is formed from a single strip, preferably of sheet rubber or other waterproof material, shaped as shown. The cape part has a U-shaped recess with inclined edges b fitted with a "zipp" fastener which, in use, is positioned at the back below the neck opening c. Recesses f are positioned beneath the arm pits and straps g secure the garment round the waist. Separate sleeves, adapted to be attached by press studs, may be provided.
