Class 63 A helmet is provided with a headband having integral harness straps i, Fig. 1, joined by a string k, the headband comprising a front part f which in use is substantially horizontal and extends to points at the back of the wearer's ears, and rear part g which inclines downwardly from these points to pass round the wearer's neck.
