[Class 126] [Also in Group XVIII] A clock 4 is detachably fitted in an openfronted rearwardly projecting housing 3 on the splash-plate 1 of a cooking-stove, by means of projections 9 on the clock engaging and retained within apertures 10 or sockets in or on the plate. The opening 2 in the panel, to receive the clock, is elliptical, and the apertures 10 are P-shaped, so that when the clock is inserted into the casing, the hooked projections 9 pass into the openings 10, and, when the clock is lowered, engage behind the plate 1. Springs may be fixed on the back of the splashplate to engage the lugs 9 and so' press the clock frame 6 against the front face of the splash-plate. According to the Provisional Specification, the rearward projections on the clock frame may be a pair of split resilient pegs which are frictionally held in sockets secured in holes in the splash-plate. The sockets mav be exteriorlv threaded to receive securing nuts, and may also attach the housing to the splash-plate.
