476,873. Boxes. BOXFOLDIA, Ltd., and FOYLE, J. R. June 12, 1936, No. 16510. [Class 18] A two-part hinged display lid b of a box carries on one or both sides tabs d which do not extend the full length of the side of the lid and are adapted to overlap the adjacent portion of the box body when the lid is closed down. The tabs may lie loosely against the sides, be secured by tying string round the box, or be slipped into slots e. The lid is set up for display by bending the top part about the crease lines b<3> until it lies against the inner face of the bottom part. The crease lines b<3> may extend into the tabs d, or the latter can be torn off along perforations f. In the closed position of the lid, the flap b<5> overlaps the front wall and the tongues b<6> are inserted in slots c, or the flap b<5> lies against the inside of the front wall with its free edge resting on the floor of the box. The latter is made from the blank shown in Fig. 4 and is set up as described in Specification 436,611. A tab g can be pulled up to constitute a price tab. Specification 465,723 also is referred to and Specifications 355,560 and 412,785 are referred to in the Provisional Specification.
