Abstract

412,548. Cardboard, metal, &c. boxes. ALDHOUSE, W. S., and ALDHOUSE, C. H., 43, Temple Street, Chorlton-on-Medlock, Manchester. Sept. 23, 1932, No. 26456. [Class 18.] In a cardboard, wood, metal, &c. box with a loose lid 6 having flanges 7, 8, 9 formed by bending the flange 9 is arranged so that it is free at its end edges and is disposed in a pocket formed by a strip 11 on the outside of the body. The lid can be raised and depressed as shown into the pocket to serve as a show card. According to the Provisional Specification a flange tab or the like is hinged or flexibly connected to the lid and this coacts with a pocket or the equivalent into which the tab &c. is depressed so that the lid is maintained vertical. Printed or other matter may be carried on the inside of the lid.
