Abstract

476,646. Look - out reflectors for vehicles. NEALE & SONS, Ltd., J., and NEALE, R. W. June 12, 1936, No. 16394. [Class 103 (ii)] [Also in Groups XIV and XXV] In an observationmirror fitting in which the mirror d is adjustably attached to one end of a straight circular arm a of which the other end is adjustably secured to a plate c by which it is fixed to a vehicle or support, a ferrule j, frictionally secured to the mirror frame by a nut j<4> and a spring washer j<3>, is formed with a hole through which passes the shank h<3> of an eyed bolt h which is slidable and rotatable on the arm. The shank is formed with external and internal screw threads engaged by a nut i which fixes the eyed bolt h on the arm a after adjustment and a screw pin m by which the ferrule is frictionally secured after adjustment. For attachment to the plate c the arm a passes through an eyed bolt e co-operating with a recess in a lug c<2> to which it is secured after adjustment by a spring washer f and a nut g.
