[Class 83 (iv)] Soldering-bits, particularly of the electrically heated kind, consist of a copper tip connected to a shank of a metal having a heat conductivity approximating to that of copper and a resistance to burning away exceeding that of copper, e.g. aluminium. The aluminium shank is provided with screwed pin ends 1a, 1b for securing respectively to the heater and to the copper bit 2 which has an edge 2a.
