Abstract
474,314. Perambulator suspensions. SIMPSON, B., and MURDOCH, H. B. Sept. 5, 1936, No. 24317. [Class 108 (ii)] Suspensions for baby carriages and the like comprise a tubular or rod frame member a substantially rectangular in plan and a similar member d secured to the lower part of the body, springs g, rubber or other resilient material being interposed between the frames. The lower frame a has secured to it the axles b and the wheels c may be disposed outside or inside the frame a while the upper frame d is secured to the body by through bolts e and rubber distance pieces f. The ends of the upper and lower frames approach one another as shown. In a modification, the upper frame d instead of surrounding the body may be disposed wholly beneath the body.
