Abstract

474,204. Hand-irons, KELLNER, L., KELLNER, M., and GEBERT, V. March 24, 1937, No. 8664. Convention date, Dec. 1, 1936. [Class 138 (ii)] An electric hand-iron is provided with a water chamber 5 communicating with a steam dome 6 from which a duct 8 leads to a superheating chamber 11. A discharge orifice 12 of restricted dimensions communicates with the superheating chamber whereby the steam is delivered under high pressure. A baffle 13 prevents access of water to the steam dome.
