Abstract
396,274. Indicating and regulating liquid-levels. SULZER FR’RES SOC. ANON., Winterthur, Switzerland. Dec. 19, 1932, No. 35971. Convention date, Jan. 11. [Class 123 (i).] In an electric boiler the feed is controlled in accordance with the water level by means of one or more contacts or auxiliary electrodes 6, 7 which make or break contact with the water and are arranged in a chamber 5 separate from the boiler and communicating therewith. The electrodes are vertically adjustable and operate through relays 13, 16 to sound the alarm 22 when either of the levels 23, 24 is attained.
