474,090. Strainers. MORFEY, C. (Canfield Rubber Co.) May 26, 1936, No. 14799. [Class 46] The nozzle 1 of a straining device for attachment to taps &c. is formed entirely of rubber or other elastic material and has a gripping bead 1a and a sealing sleeve 1b which is held against the tap outlet by backpressure of liquid in the chamber A. The outlet end of the nozzle has a groove in which are fitted a wire mesh strainer 3 and a dished perforated spray plate 4. The inner surface of the sleeve 1b may be formed with ribs 1e.
