Abstract

484,210. Taps. WEBB LAMP CO., Ltd., and WEBB, J. L. Nov. 3, 1936, No. 29863. [Class 135] An anti-splash appliance for taps and the like comprises a rubber tubular member a for fitting at one end on to the tap outlet and having at its other end an external flange a<3> which engages in an internal enlargement c<4> of a rigid nozzle c. This engagement is secured by the insertion of a perforated block e into the bore of the tube adjacent the flanged portion. A gauze filter disc d is fitted in the nozzle c within the enlargement c<4>.
